Our Last Day

 Today, June 30 will be our last business day. After that, the farm will be permanently closed. Thanks to all who have supported us over the years. We'll miss you and wish you the best in your gardening pursuits. 

Getting Set for our Big Sale

 As we wrap up our final spring season, John and I are getting ready for our big retirement sale, which begins next Thursday, June 8. Prices on perennial plants and shop items will be reduced by half. We have a large selection of books which will be reduced by 50% or more. We'll have a yard sale section with bargains galore and even some free items. Next week, June 6-10, the farm will be open Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 5pm.

Beginning the following week, the farm will be open Wednesday through Saturday 9am to 5pm. The farm will be open throughout June or until we have no more inventory left.

Don't forget about our Customer Appreciation Day  on Saturday June 10. The sale will be ongoing and we'll have light refreshments from 10am until noon. We look forward to seeing our many friends and long time customers and having a chance to say thank you for your many years of loyal support. 

Big Closing Sale

 As we wrap up our final season before retiring, John and I are so grateful for all your kind words about what the herb farm has meant to you and your good wishes for our future. 

Our big closing sale will begin Thursday, June 8 and run until the end of June or until our stock is gone. Prices for remaining plants, shop products and books will all be significantly reduced and we will also have a "yard sale" sectionof miscellaneous items at bargain prices.

Saturday, June 10 is our chance to thank you, our loyal customers, with our customer appreciation day. Stop by to chat, enjoy some cake and shop as we wind down our last spring season. Our hours remain the same through June 10 - Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Beginning the week of June 12, the farm will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Our 25th anniversary and our last season

 This year, we celebrate our 25th anniversary at the herb farm. It's been a wonderful 25 years, growing useful and fragrant plants and meeting so many wonderful folks who also enjoy herbs. It has been a difficult decision, but John and I will be retiring at the end of the spring season. We are getting older and the seasonal nature of the business is an increasing challenge. John retired from Hersheypark seven years ago and he's still working! So it seems like the right time to retire and relax a bit more. We'll have a regular spring season, although there may be less of some varieties than other years.

Beginning April 1, greenhouse hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Regardless of what you read elsewhere, our hours have been the same since we opened. It's possible that hours may vary somewhat this spring. If you are traveling some distance, call us at (717) 492-9248 before your trip to make sure we're open when you wish to come.

We want to thank all our very loyal and supportive customers for making the farm such a success. What a wonderful job I've had for 25 years! Hope to see you again this spring at the farm or at Landis Valley Herb Faire  on May 12 and 13.

Masks are required and we will limit the number of people in the greenhouse and shop at one time.

The plant sale is ongoing. Most plants are 50% off. We still have a good variety, perennials in particular. The greenhouse is open Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 5pm.
